Welcome!

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my meals, recipes, fitness tips, and life. Over the years I’ve noticed a direct correlation between what I eat and how I feel. I like my food simple, fresh, affordable, nutritious, and (most importantly) delicious. Now that I’m 30 (gasp!), I know its definitely time to clean up my act and not “cheat” on clean eating quite so often. What can I say, those habits developed in the carefree 20s are proving to be a little harder to break than I expected. But not impossible.

My blog is still in it’s budding baby stage, but my plan is to eventually evolve it into how staying fit, getting fitter, and eating cleaner fits into my day-to-day life. I think I can have my cake and eat it, too. Just not too much cake.

 Things You Should Know About Me:

  • I am crazy mad in love with Trader Joe’s. If you ask me for grocery advice, you will probably be directed there. Unless you don’t live near one, in which  case, I am sad for you.
  • 2 things make me swoon more than anything: great coffee and anything turquoise.
  • I am a personal trainer and if you would like to hire me or want more information, feel absolutely encouraged to contact me.
  • Sometimes I post workouts.
  • Sometimes I post thing are not fitness or food related, as I am not a one dimensional being.
  • Everything in moderation. I do not do fad diets. I do not diet. I practice self-control. Mostly successfully.

I eat a rainbow everyday, and I don’t mean Skittles. Okay, sometimes Skittles.
